Topazolite

Topazolite is the yellow variety of Andradite. It is one of the varieties of the Andradite garnet family, the other being demantoid garnet and melanite. Topazolite contains titanium and manganese. Moreover, is has more fire than diamond due to a high refractive index.

Occurrence

Topazolite crystals are found in the Italian and Swiss Alps and metamorphic rocks.
