Green Tourmaline is a common variety of tourmaline. However, emerald-green tourmaline is the rarest, most valuable, and prized variety. It is interesting to know that until the 18th century, it was confused with emerald. Yellow-green tourmaline occurs in large quantities at various locations.

Occurrence

Emerald-green stones are found in Pakistan, Afghanista, Tanzania, Brazil, and Namibia.
