Danburite is a generally colorless crystal that may also be yellow or pink. A white danburite crystal may display a characteristic wedge-shaped end. That is similar to those of colorless topaz but distinguishable by cleavage (poor in danburite, perfect in topaz). Moreover, the specific gravity of danburite is lower.
