We strongly believe in quality, integrity and service. All our gemstones are real, untreated and kept so as found in nature. Rough stones can also be cut and polished into faceted gems as per clients requirement. Our team of certified gemologists, appraisers and gem cutters handle them with utmost care and professionalism.
A note from the face behind Collector Gems
I am Hassan Majeed. I am a gemologist and completed my Gemstone Identification course in 2016 and Colored Stone Grading and Pricing in 2017 from Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences, Bangkok, Thailand. These courses gave me essential information about rough and cut gemstones, their origins, treatments, prices, and identifications. As I came to love the different types of gemstones, especially Emeralds, it didn’t take me long though to jump into the gemstone business and set up my first retail shop at Jewelry Trade Center, Bangkok in 2017.
I established Collector Gems with a clear vision of bringing gems and specimen to the world directly from the mines to the market. Being a passionate mountaineer and gemologist myself, I take pride in showcasing rare finds. It has been a great experience dealing in various types of gemstones from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Thailand, Myanmar, Madagascar, Australia, Mexico, and Sri Lanka. I have dealt with customers from around the world. They represent different cultures and have peculiar tastes in terms of their gemstone selections. Having participated in Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fairs between 2017-19 and exhibited in Jewellery & Gem Asia Hong Kong Fairs in June and September 2019, the journey continues of exploring the mystery of gems.
